I always associated cruise holidays with retired folk sitting out on deck wearing blazers and Trilby’s, blue-rinse bingo grannies and the pursuit of a seat at the Captain’s table. However, according to Julie and Steve, who are both in their 30’s and 40’s respectively with two young children, companies like Island Cruises are now offering informal cruise holidays, which bare little resemblance to the stereo-type I’ve fixated on. Though apparently you can still sit at the Captain’s table if your lucky enough to be invited. What do you reckon... Cruising the new cool holiday? Beats a fortnight in the Costa del Sol I’d imagine.
